Wow, this is the last week of our series – “Outflow”! This week we have the opportunity to let the world around us know about the Love of God in ways they will understand – as Jesus did – by LISTENING! So let’s go out there and listen to people and then let’s SERVE. In the “Deep End” section there is a challenge to do acts of service every hour one day. Let’s pick a day and try it. Let’s see what happens and how it makes others feel and how it makes us feel! Have a great week! Joann
Week 5 – “The World…”
Week 4 – Samaria…
V-Church was really good tonight! Getting out of our comfort zone will be quite a challenge this week. Jesus was such an example to us the way He loved the Samartian woman – loving those who are different from ourselves! I love what we read on day 3 of our devo this week “God would never love me any more or any less than He did when He first found me as a lost and broken sinner.” That is true for EVERYONE you come in contact with this week! Go out and show the love of God!!
I love the first devotional this week. Really take the time to think about “who knows that I am a Christian.” Wow, the answer to that question could be very telling. Then think about what do I need to change in my life to make that answer more clear to those around me. One of things I want to do and that I am learning from Outflow is to learn to serve MORE and to serve BETTER! Have fun this week with your devotions and post some of the things you are doing to become better at serving on the blog – I’m interested at how you are all doing at this thing called loving others through serving! Joann

On to Week Two…
Hey, welcome to Outflow – “Get ready to JUMP IN! It’ll be an Adventure!” This series will require some things of you! First, you will need to bring your Bible to V-Church every week to get the MOST out of the series; second you will need to do the work in your journals 5 out of 7 days per week!! Now that is just not a lot to do!! Actually I think it is going to be a BLAST!! On Day 1 when you get the FOCUS part of your journal you will see that you need to pray “outward” – that means find a place outside to pray. Settle down! You don’t need to pray like a CRAZY person outisde! You just need to focus on someone other than yourself while outside and pray quietly! Really NOT a big deal!! Let’s try to take 15 mins. 5 days per week and work on our journals - all of your V-Church leaders will be working right along w/you! So join the blog. let’s talk and LET’S GET STARTED… Joann
